Tuesdays With Nate…
Welcome to Tuesdays With Nate, a new weekly installment of our blog where my lovely, intelligent, witty fiance is going to be stretching his writing muscles and stopping by to chat with all of you. We’re both very excited about it because Nate has been wanting to write more and because he has been wanting to get to know you all better. So, say hello and if you have any questions you think would be fun for Nate to answer send them to us at info{at}studio222photography{dot}com. For the first few weeks Nate will be sharing some stuff just to let everyone get to know him better and then we’ll all just see where it goes after that. So, I present to you, Tuesdays With Nate….
What’s bugging me: I’m sorry if this offends you, but if you use the word “tweeps” as a combination of “twitter” + “people”, you are on my list.
What’s exciting me: Today is the release of the new Mutemath album, called “Armistice”. The first time I saw them perform was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to, and one of the first times Becka and I really bonded over live music (that we weren’t making together).
What I’m reminiscing about: Last weekend, Dave Matthews Band, West Palm Beach, and my best friends. Oh, three day weekends and road trips, how I miss you…
My favorite thing right now: The Canon MP-65E 5x macro lens. We rented it to see if I could pull off some sweet ring shots and all I’ve used it for so far is bugs and our pet snake, but it’s awesome. It’s awesome, that is, if you have time to set up a tripod, lights, and some sort of remote to trigger it. You’ll see what I mean in my picture of the week.
What I’m looking forward to: Mac OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard. It’s going to be SWEET, just trust me. Not so much looking forward to Windows 7. Not even a little bit. Not even at all.
What I’d like to do better: Eat. I want to eat healthier. I enjoy Moes almost as much as I enjoy Chipotle and home made cookies. My love for Mexican food, along with the gigantic proportions associated with it, is my weakness.

2. I completely agree with the “tweeps” thing…seriously? Who even says peeps anymore if they’re not referring to the fluffy, sweet marshmellowy chicks at easter?
3. You’re completely off your rocker with the whole Moe’s vs. Chipotle thing. Chipotle wins hands down EVERY time. :)

Tuesdays with Nate are great! Yea that just rhymed….. Anywhoo, LOVE the dragonfly pictures, I have been dreaming about a macro lense for my DSLR for years now! Can’t wait to read/see more!

p.s. I also have a huge weakness for Mexican food. It is not good (the obsession, not the food. The food is phenomenal!)
