Robyn & Brian | Engagement Session in Winter Park

We met Robyn so long ago that I was worried I wouldn’t remember what she looked like when we decided to meet up at the Starbucks on Park Ave in Winter Park. I will admit, I looked her up again on Facebook before leaving the house just to make sure I remembered her face. When we met with her and Brian for their engagement session a few weeks ago we were hoping for the best, but ended up stuck in a torrential downpour. And I’m pretty sure that lightning struck about 5 feet from us, it was that loud. Luckily, Robyn and Brian are two of the coolest people we’ve ever worked with so they just hid with us under cover on the Rollins Campus and joked around with us until the rain let up. We hurried out to get a few shots before the sun went down and just as we began to shoot, the heavens opened up on us yet again. Brides-to-be out there, I know this is your worst fear, but Robyn and Brian didn’t let it get to them and when I (half) jokingly told them they should just go play in the rain and let us shoot it, they jumped right in and got all makey-outey for us in a rainstorm reminiscent of some of Hollywood’s best love scenes. We ended up meeting back up with them a week later for a shortened session just to get a few shots while it was sunny (and dry) and I must admit, this finalized set of images is one of my favorites to date.

Robyn and Brian, we are so very excited for your wedding this fall and we are sooooo happy to have you both as clients. We love how trusting you both were with us and how you weren’t afraid to by yourselves (funny faces and all) in front of our cameras. We hope that you love these engagement images as much as we do and we are counting down the days till your wedding! Enjoy friends…
