I could write all day on this topic, we vacation in Marathon for two weeks every summer! (and I just have to say that Marathon isn't a "Key", it's just a city. So "Marathon Key" isn't an accurate way to say it) :) I tried tweeting you guys to tell you the must eat restaurants down there - my two favs are the Island Fish Co. and Tiki Bar which is one of the first restaurants you come to in Marathon. Then, down the road there's the dumpiest looking place called Herbie's. They're not open on Sun or Mon so plan accordingly, but their food is amaaaazing! There's a ton more so email me if you wanna chat more about it! :)) Love the pics!

When I went to the Keys with Lewis' family a couple summers ago we stayed in Islamorada at a timeshare resort. It was nice but more of a fishing community (if you aren't really into fishing there isn't a lot there.) But, they did have a fun little restaurant which boasted the "Best Fish Sandwich on the Planet" or something like that. Huge billboards for it everywhere. Another fun and random thing to do in Islamorada is Robbie's. It's a boat rental/charter shop but they have docks where you can feed the tarpon fish (which are HUGE) and we had a lot of fun doing that. Great photo opps too.

We spent a fun afternoon on one of the keys at Bahia Honda park and had fun snorkeling there. Great place for a picnic.

Also, in Key Largo, the boat "The African Queen" from the movie is docked at a hotel. Not a huge tourist attraction but it was neat to see.

The week we were there, it was Gay Pride week in Key West so that was rather interesting. I was a little disappointed with the "Sunset Party" in Mallory Square but Sloppy Joe's bar and the Hemingway Museum are fun in Key West too.

Long comment, hope this helps! :)
