On Anthropologie (again)…
If you’ve known me for more than 5 minutes, you’ve probably astutely picked up on my obsession with love for Anthropologie. I was just telling Nate the other day that our condo decor didn’t really reflect my real love and that I wanted to start giving it a bit of a tweak. More eclectic. More antique. I just love it all. (Maybe because it speaks to my Tradition Sensual side?) I spent about an hour creating a wish list on the Anthropologie website of decor I envisioned in our home. And when their monthly catalog arrived in my mailbox I got giddy with anticipation. The spreads are always dreamy and I instantly want to have the superpower to transport myself into them. (Or at least put my name on the photography credits. Hello dreamer!)
When I saw this last spread in the current catalog, I was instantly inspired. I’m craving a shoot themed and styled like this. I have a location in mind. Now all I need are the perfect models. Are you out there? Do you already have an Anthropologie-esque styled wardrobe? Do you have little trinkets like these we can incorporate? Do you like having your photos taken? I too am completely inspired photographically by Antropologie’s catalogue/magazine that arrives every few months. It’s fun to see that others are as well. In fact, Im heading to NYC next weekend with my daughter and the cover shot alone has me thinking of a shoot “idea” while there if I have time. Now, here is just hoping it snows while there! :-) Love your blog design.

i have that same catalog sitting next to me as i read this! and i was just telling my husband this morning how i wish i could take pictures just like those. and how i wish i could decorate our apartment just like that. and that i might as well dress like that too. ummm, yeah, he gave me a crazy look. but i do aspire to take anthropolgie-esque photos someday as well. i just need to find me a model here in the dallas area :)
Just got this issue in on Wednesday and I got a big ol’ grin on my face with the anticipation of browsing through it. But I haven’t had time to go through it. I’m on my way right now to pick and drool over it’s fabulousness.
I just received my anthropologie catalogue yesterday as well and spent a good portion of my evening drooling over the spreads. I wish my home and wardrobe were more anthropologie-ized!!! Can’t wait to see what you come up with for your shoot…

You have no idea… I squealed when I got this in the mail earlier this week. I wanted to rip out ever spread and put it on my wall for inspiration. The last shot is to die for!!!!
