Just 8 for Dayna and Ian…

We’ve got 6 weddings in the queue right now, a bunch of products and discs to be mailed, a Christmas card that has yet to be designed (or ordered, or addressed to the masses, or mailed), and an embarrassingly messy condo. Looks like my December break isn’t really that much of a break. This past weekend Nate and I did reserve time to get and decorate our Christmas tree as well as getting in the holiday spirit with tickets to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. If you’ve never seen or heard them you absolutely MUST go and get tickets right this minute. They are absolutely insane. Nate surprised me with tickets for my birthday and it was such a fantastic present. I need to go download their entire new album now. You’ll never think of classical music the same way again.

Yesterday we shot Dayna and Ian’s engagement photos down by Lake Ivanhoe just on the other side of downtown. It’s where Ian popped the question. And it’s where you can get a pretty sweet sunset view of the cityscape. We are so excited about Dayna and Ian’s wedding next year. And also for the excuse of being their photographers as a reason to know them and hang out with them. For now though I only had time to get this quick little sneak peek up for them. I found these rapid-fire frames mixed in with a bunch of sunset shots and thought they were too good to pass up. It’s 8 images in one.
