I’m so excited to share these images from the destination wedding of Laurie and Kyle in Puerto Rico. The wedding was actually held in on a tiny island called Vieques, It’s a small 6 mile long island on the eastern coast of Puerto Rico, known for it’s amazing Bioluminescent Bay. The wedding was held at the gorgeous Punta Martineau which is also where some of the family stayed. If you are looking for a vacation house on a tropical island, let me say this place is a dream come true! Sandy of Weddings in Vieques and her team, did an amazing job of coordinating the entire event. We felt so lucky to get to work with them as they were our on call aids the entire weekend and made sure we had everything we needed from food to a driver to get us around the island. Laurie and Kyle were troopers and even though some unseasonal and CRAZY weather was rolling through all weekend, they were extremely welcoming and kept a smile on their faces. Mother Nature smiled on us and allowed the rain to stop and the skies to clear just in time for a lovely sunset ceremony and open air reception under the stars. And let me tell you, there were stars like I’ve never seen stars before. Hundreds and thousands! I almost didn’t recognize my favorite constellation, Orion, because of how many other stars were scattered all through it! We hope this blog entry transports you to the warm and humid islands, I know many of you are all digging out from under piles of snow right now…
