Winners of the 222 contests announced!

A few weeks ago (okay, in February) we held a contest for couples to submit creative pictures with the numbers “222″ in them for a contest giving away a pretty awesome swag bag of prizes. We got a bit behind as our schedules got crazy so we figured we’d just pick a winner and they’d win it all! After talking it over together (and making sure we were available for their date) we chose Krista & Wesley for their heart warming submission including airplanes.
Here is what Krista had to say:
Wesley and I have been dating since May of 2006. Some things we love are frozen yogurt, good movies, and playing xbox 360. Wesley and I used airplanes in the background of our picture because it has somewhat of a significance in our history. On one of our first dates he took me to St. Augustine to visit one of his good friends. (A little background: Wesley has been a big fan of airplanes since he was a kid- paper airplanes, remote controlled airplanes, pretty much anything that can fly). On our date he went outside to fly a remote controlled airplane and was so incredibly excited when I seemed interested. He told me later on… “When you wanted to fly airplanes with me, I knew I had to marry you“. True Story.

And for the photographers who entered our contest for the canvas from Pixel 2 Canvas, we chose this awesome submission from Shelly of Doggy Studio & Boutique in Miami. We loved her creativity!
Here’s what Shelly had to say:
Although I dream of taking beautiful wedding pictures I have established myself as a dog photographer. I wanted to participate (using dog photography) in your contest but my dog will not have me running around with a light without running right behind me. I took some photos spelling out 222 using light applying a totally different concept. The light being the sun casting a shadow with the numbers. I hope you enjoy my silly attempt to do something cool with your challenge.

Thank you to everyone who entered. Your entries were all lovely and made us smile and we wish we could choose every one of you! And to the winners, please contact us via email to claim your prizes at info(at)studio222photography(dot)com.
