Before…
We’re about halfway moved in and we only have the moving truck till 3pm today so I’ve only got a few seconds to share these images with you. They are from yesterday, and from my iPhone so the quality is le suck. But, here is our little 1920′s Craftsman-style bungalow. It’s a strange feeling when you’re renting because part of you wants to really transform the place, and part knows that you don’t get to keep it. I’m a bit sad that I won’t be able to do anything about the cabinets or the bathrooms as far as construction goes. But… I am excited for what transformations I will be able to do with landscaping, paint and lighting and a few trips to Anthropologie. (SIDENOTE: Yesterday, Nate turned to me and said, “I think we should make a trip to Anthropologie tomorrow to get a few little things for the new place. Like that skeleton key thing…” Stop right there. PEOPLE! He said skeleton key. And he proposed a trip to Anthropologie. TO BUY STUFF. Yes ladies, he’s mine. Did I mention he proposed buying me new Loubous in Soho in August? I digress…) And with a talented interior design-ish friend, I’m sure to get this place up to par in no time. (Did I say “no time”? I meant that I have no time. Hmmm. That does pose a slight problem. Watch me work!)
