A quick decorating update…

At least one room in our house is pretty much done. The living room. It’s been the easiest since it required the least amount of new things to complete it. (Our bedroom for example needs extra storage. The dining room needed a table and chairs. The patio needs furniture, etc.) I’m really loving it. There’s a few little tweaks still left to finish but overall, this little spot in the house is pretty much done. Here’s a before and after for you, iphone style…

I’ll go into more details later on when the whole house is finished about where things are from and design dilemmas but let me just say that I am in LOVE with that little bird watercolor above the sofa. It reminds me of this photo that I took last time we were in New York. And those are big osprey feathers mounted above it. And macaw feathers on the shelf. There’s definitely a bird theme running through the room with the watercolor, feathers, two old books on birds, and the little cement bird on the fire place. And you can hardly see her because she’s black like the night but Eisley is curled up on the sofa. ;)
