A Magical Land | Just One From Kylee and Chris’ Michigan Wedding
Upper Peninsula, Michigan
Just one from our Encore session with Kylee and Chris the day after their wedding in the Upper Peninsula, Iron River, Michigan. We fell in love with the fire-colored forests and sapphire lakes (and I tried to talk Nate into building a cabin up here). It has been an amazing weekend filled with food, unimaginably beautiful countryside, and the friendliest family members we’ve ever met. We’re a bit sad to say goodbye to this magical land where leaves change colors every day, lakes stretch farther than the horizon, and apples grow on trees. ;)

It was so nice to meet both of you and spend time with you at the rehearsal dinner and throughout the Wedding day. Thank you for humoring me and answering my million questions about photography, your travel, relationship and wedding. I found you both and your work incredibly fascinating! Also, thank you for taking a picture of my main man (Adoby) and I. As obvious dog lovers, I know you totally get it! The first picture is amazing, looking forward to the rest. Hey Becka! I just had a Mackinac Island wedding and fell in love with the U.P.! It was my first time to Michigan and I loved it! Had my very first Pastie…did you guys get the chance to try it? I definately misprounounced it, but enjoyed the beauty of the area :) Great capture by the way!

Oh the colors are amazing and the light is PERFECT! Fantastic shot. I love it. I’m from Michigan originally. It really is such an underrated state. Just gorgeous. Can’t wait till the colors pop in NYC.
