Kristen & Eric’s Wedding at Cypress Grove

Kristen and Eric met with us a while ago, but I still remember it because Eric was joking that their wedding was going to be all black and gold. To anyone else, that may sound like a fairly elegant color combination. But to young people living in Orlando the mention of the colors black and gold means only one thing: The UCF Knights. I remember Kristen smiling politely while shaking her head secretly behind him. They are both alumni of UCF and Eric is as diehard a fan as any I’ve ever met. On their wedding day I didn’t see much black and gold (except for Eric’s wedding band which he proudly showed me was chosen because of it’s special color combination) but I did see a love stronger than Eric’s love for his alma mater.
