Orlando, Florida

I don’t think I got around to mentioning it before but Juan happens to be a chef at one of the best restaurants in Orlando. Which is pretty cool. So I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this sticker when I saw it. It didn’t belong to Juan actually and was on a car that we walked by but it reminded me of him so I figured I couldn’t not take it. We went walking around with Sara and Juan after we grabbed some coffee and found a little street lined with houses in a rainbow of colors. We decided to just play around, shooting as many colors as we could, with everything bathed in the lovely golden light of the sun as it sank closer to the edge of the world. I don’t really have much to say about Sara and Juan other than that they completely rock, have a knack for levitation, and we’re so excited that they’ve come into our little photographic world. Thanks for being up for anything guys! :)

Orlando, Florida

We simply adore Monique and Martin. I’m pretty sure that when, during our first meeting, Martin told Nate that he worked in video games that was the end. Nate was in love. Monique and Martin have the most comfortable energy around each other. We decided to start their engagement session in Starbucks after Monique told us that’s where they spend a lot of their time together. Her reading and him on his laptop. And their time together is precious since Martin has spent the majority of their relationship balancing between his world here in Orlando and his job up in Seattle. We figured Starbucks was a more than fitting place to start. After we all got a good caffeine buzz going, we headed out to the park to capture some of that golden sunlight we Floridians are famous for…

Private Residence | Orlando, Florida

Lizzie and Charlie’s wedding was a huge celebration in every sense of the word. From their emotion-filled ceremony to their carnival-styled reception under the stars, everyone knew this was a day for celebrating. Lizzie had one of my favorite wedding details of all time. She is a teacher and she had all her kids paint and decorate paper to create the pinwheels that she used on her big day as decoration. I loved how they were perfect in their imperfections. Lizzie and Charlie were surrounded by a fantastic group of friends in their wedding party who went above and beyond all day to make sure everything went off beautifully. Thank you all for allowing us to capture the happiness that was this celebration. We hope you enjoy these teaser frames. We’ll have a bunch for for you all soon…
