Lizzie & Charlie’s Carnival Wedding | THE UNION

Private Estate | Central Florida Wedding

Lizzie and Charlie were so much fun. That’s really the only way I can explain them. When we first met with them in our studio Lizzie told me how she envisioned a brightly colored, carnival style to her wedding and I couldn’t wait to see how she turned that inspiration into reality. Their recpetion was held at a friend of the family’s amazing estate under a carnival tent decked out with pinwheels and all manner of brightly colored decorations.

One of my favorite details was one I had never seen before. As a teacher, Lizzie wanted to incorporate her kids into their wedding so she had them color and paint paper to make into the pinwheels that she used to decorate the church and the reception. Each one was completely unique and so pure in it’s imperfections. I loved them. You can see them below. The ring bearer is carrying one and the rest are sprinkled throughout the day.

I’m so excited to share these photos because I really love them. The huge oak trees on the property were magical and I was so excited when Lizzie carved out time for us to drive the entire wedding party to the opposite end of the estate to capture the wedding party in front of the trees in the golden setting sunlight.
