Cicely + James’ Heritage Florida Wedding at Maison and Jardin | THE UNION
Maison & Jardin | Orlando, FL
Guess who’s back in the swing? I think that was the longest I’ve ever let our blog go without an update (as Nate has so lovingly pointed out to me a few times in the last few days). Are you still here? Our spring season was crazy and as of now we’ve shot almost 3/4 of our weddings for 2010 already (I told you it was crazy), but we’re back and we’ve got soooo many things to show and share. Weddings from the spring have been patiently waiting to be shown here on our blog and I’m excited to get them out there for the world to see because we had a pretty incredible spring season.
Today, we’re sharing photos from Cicely & Jame’s heritage Florida styled wedding at the gorgeous Maison & Jardin. (Hi Brittany! We loved working with you guys!) Cicely and James decided to style their wedding based on our beloved home state in honor of Cicely’s grandparents who owned a gift shop in South Florida where they would sell Florida themed trinkets to happy nomads as they passed through on vacation or business. Cicely paid homage to Florida’s sweet oranges, honey, and even flamingos in a way that is blow-your-mind uncheesy. We loved all the details that made their day special and were a working memorial to her grandparents on her wedding day. Enjoy.
