FIVE SENSES FOR FRIDAY
TASTING:
// An acai berry, strawberry and chocolate smoothie for breakfast. And soon I’ll be nomming on leftovers from last night when we headed to our favorite Thai restaurant in Orlando. I always order the exact same thing- red curry with tofu, hold the eggplant, extra bamboo. It’s like heaven in a bowl.
SEEING:
// A to-do list that went from okay to ugh. Maybe if I close my eyes it will disappear? No? Bummer.
HEARING:
// Currently: Stef and I talking about upcoming changes we’re starting to implement. Fridays are meeting day. Fridays are my favorite.
TOUCHING:
// Plastic things- keys, mouses, cameras, phone… plastic means business, apparently.
SMELLING:
// An amazing candle from Anthropologie that Stef gave us as part of a super sweet housewarming gift. Goji and Tarocco Orange scented-it’s warm and spicy citrus. Yum.

An & Michael’s Sunny Engagement at Lange Farm
Dade City, Florida
An and Michael are getting married THIS SATURDAY! Let the countdown begin. An also happens to be the sister of one of our past grooms. You may remember her brother from such blog posts as “The Indigo Hued Wedding of Sonja and Binh“. It’s needless to say that this family completely rocks. We have gotten to know them pretty well over the last year and we’re so excited to celebrate with them this Saturday.
For their engagement session, An’s heart was set on finding a gorgeous farm with a big barn. Unfortunately for all of us, those types of locations are a bit sparse here in central Florida and the only really cool ones are privately owned. But An would not be thwarted and she found this gorgeous venue, Lange Farm, in Dade City where we were able to make her vision come true. Even though it was the high heat of Florida’s summer, An and Michael were troppers- they also brought us some of the most delicious brownies we’ve ever had. How can you beat that?

Adam and I absolutely love this shot!! :) can’t wait for you two to shoot ours!
@Liliana Thank you! And when we shoot in the summer we try to keep our couples out of the sun most of the time. This was one of the few shots we did where they had no shade over them. Ah the tricks of living in Florida ;)
Awesome!!!
You take some breath taking pictures!
I wonder however, aren’t people hot and crabby in the florida sun? no? just me then? :)
