Where to start? Sara and Juan have become so close to our hearts since we first met them so many months ago. Not only are they just really cool people in general (Sara was the first person to beat Nate in our fantasy football league this year and Juan is a chef at one of the city’s most loved restaurants!) They instantly helped us break down the barries of “hey I don’t really know you” and let us see them for who they really are. They aren’t afraid to laugh big and laugh hard and be goofy just because there are people with cameras around and we LOVE that because now, when I look through these images from their wedding, the smiles captured are absolutely contagious. You can’t look at a photo of Sara laughing and not smile yourself, because the laugh is so big and so REAL. If ever there was a day to let your happiness flow free, it’s on your wedding day…

We’re off to try to relax, decorate sugar cookies, and celebrate Christmas with family! We will be closed completely for the holiday weekend and will have limited office hours through the end of the year.

We can’t wait to see you and talk to you more in the new year! Have a wonderful holiday with your friends and families!

Avalon Park, FL | Family Portraits

You may recognize the name. That’s okay, we say it a fair amount around here. Brandee Gaar is the owner of the amazing coordination group, Blush by Brandee Gaar. They are some of the best people you’ll ever meet. And when it comes to planning and executing weddings, they are the best. But Brandee is more than just a killer coordinator, she’s also a wife and a mom and we had the pleasure of documenting her (growing) family for the holidays this year!

But you know us, we never do things the boring old way. So instead of a standard and boring family portrait session with lots of “cheese” we started this one off with a few beers (for the guys, since Brandee and I are both expecting and the girls are… well… underage.) and ended it the same way. I’d say that’s a family portrait session a dad can get behind! ;)

But seriously, these 4 (soon to be 5) are so much fun. The girls are gorgeous and complete hams for the camera and were more than happy to smile and throw presents around for our photographic pleasure. They were all troopers and we had a great time capturing not only what this family looks like but who they are too.
