About
WELCOME TO OUR BLOG…
As digital photographic artists we share a mutual passion for showing viewers the things they did not see. A sunflare that was invisible to the naked eye, the way light bounced off a single facet of a diamond, a split second smirk between bride and groom, the subtle touch as rings were exchanged. Telling a story through our cameras is our great joy and we thrive on creating dynamic, emotion-filled pieces of art that transport the viewer into a world where anything is possible and everything is beautiful.
We’ve separated this blog into 2 categories: work and life. You can subscribe to just one area if you’d like, or click on the buttons to only see those genres of posts. Or, you can read along on the main page and see everything.

A LITTLE ABOUT US…
We’re engaged! We love people in love. We love people in general. We quote movies and comedians a lot. (Especially Jim Gaffigan) We are Macs. We drink lots of lattes (and especially love flavored creamer). We love dinners out with friends. We listen to a lot of audio books while driving. We love traveling. We take a ridiculous amount of pictures and go through hard drives faster than Paris Hilton goes through pets. We have a slightly irreverent mutual sense of humor. We have an unhealthy attachment to our iPhones. We like good music. Nate checks woot.com every single day. Becka could live in Anthropologie. We slow dance together at least once at every wedding. We really love to go on dates in Thornton Park. We like to eat chocolate chip cookie dough Pop Tarts, wine, salsa, and cheese (but not necessarily all at one time). We love to cook dinner together. We love living downtown. We also really love to communicate with our readers so feel free to comment or email and share your thoughts.

A LITTLE MORE OFFICIAL…
Nate Robinson was born in Alabama and spent his childhood moving around the world with his parents doing missions work. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Human Resource Management. After college he began his career in computers while dabbling in photography as a hobby on the side. In 2008 he joined Becka in launching Studio222 Photography as the token gadget nerd and technical smarty pants and in 2009 he asked her to be his wife.
Becka Knight was born and raised on the west coast of Florida. She was voted “Most likely to be a CEO” in high school. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Hospitality Management she began assisting a local wedding photographer while working as a post processing artist for other wedding photographers. She grew her passion for photography and eye for creative compositions and in 2008, she started Studio222 Photography (at which she serves as “CEO”) shooting weddings and portraits with Nate who, in 2009, became her fiance and in October of 2010 will become her husband.
In their first 16 months of business, Becka and Nate have had images published three times in national periodicals including having an image featured on the cover of Professional Photographer Magazine and have been featured on various wedding planning websites. An image of theirs was chosen as a finalist in the prestigious Top Knots competition hosted by Photo District News Magazine and was also chosen to be used in their 2010 marketing for the contest. In 2010 they will be shooting their first international wedding, will be speaking at the Professional Photographer’s of America’s Iowa state conference, and will also be eloping in Europe in the fall.
