WELCOME TO OUR BLOG…

We are Nate and Becka Robinson, a husband and wife creative team. We have shot just short of 100 love stories for couples in locations from California to the Great Lakes. Residing in the middle of the sunshine state where our families are settled, we consider Florida to be the home base for our adventures. This blog follows our current creative endeavors and collaborations, the majority of which are in film and digital photography.

We specialize in narrative photography, creating and crafting visual short stories for the people and places we capture. We take photographs with a vintage Hasselblad, a 35mm from the early 80′s, a small army of antique polaroid cameras, and a lineup of state of the art, professional, digital beasts. Our ever-evolving portfolio is a marriage of the old and the new both in our equipment and our style.

We are drawn to people, places, projects, and unions that are unique, honest, and laid-back.

We won’t hide it: we are not for everyone. We will always stay true to our style and the aesthetic that we love. If you’ve looked at our work and felt a pull at your emotions, or like we are long lost freinds, then odds are we’ll work well together. We are not snap happy hired hands. WE step back and watch, we find the story, we tell the truth in our images. We choose happiness and bring passion to all that we do. We want to get to know you, to builkd an experience with you. What we do is about telling stories, not just taking pictures.

We feel honored to have had both our photography and our blog receive awards. Our work has been featured numerous times in national, local and online publications such as Professional Photographer Magazine, PDN, The Knot Florida, Brides Florida, Junebug Weddings, Style Me Pretty Florida, Ruffled, Southern Weddings, and many more. We are current and active members of the Professional Photographers of America.
