Nate has decided that he wants to host a 4th of July shindig at our new digs which, I’m not sure if you noticed, is 6 days away. 6 days. I have 5 rooms left to paint, an entire yard to get in order, furniture to find and buy, and accessories to accessorize. In 6 days? Don’t think it’s gonna happen. Which makes me sweat with anxiety over the thought of hosting a party at a place that is still a work in progress. My perfectionist inner child is on the verge of a stage 4 meltdown. But, I did make some headway this past week. (Thanks for enduring my interweb silence.) I did a bit of shopping, a bit of painting, and a bit of unpacking and it’s starting to come together

Today is the start of something pretty wonderful! Today is the launch date of a collaboration I have been so excited about ever since it was just a brainstormed idea floating between two friends. Today, my dear friend Trisha and I are launching our new website: Color Me Inspired! Each Monday we’ll be posting a new color board designed by yours truly and a do it yourself template to match it designed by the talented Trisha Hay.
