Walt Disney World | Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Larsen and Stephanie got married at Disney World. Well, not exactly… because if they really got married in one of the parks in Disney World, we wouldn’t have been allowed to shoot it because Disney has strange policies. Luckily, the world is pretty big…so they got married in the world, but not in the parks. Larsen and Stephanie were friends of ours before we met them to talk about their wedding and our photography so shooting their wedding was a bit different than shooting others. There was an added element of responsibility. We had to force ourselves to pay attention even more than we normally do. To forget that we live here, and that we know these people and these places, and to shoot it with both new eyes, and the eyes of friends. We had so much fun this day because Stephanie and Larsen spoiled us by inviting us to be guests as well as photographers and completely blew us away when Larsen asked Nate to be one of his witnesses at the signing of their ketubah. I got teary eyed during the signing. It was such a special honor. More photos to come soon, until then…

Disney Animal Kindgdom Lodge & Disney Wedding Pavillion | Orlando, Florida

Saudi and Andrei are two of our favorites and I am so thrilled to share these images with you all because I just love them so much. These two met with us soooo long ago and told us the story of how they met, got married, and had been loving each other for a decade. They were planning a huge vow renewal celebration because they never had a formal wedding and were so excited to have friends and family come from all over the world to celebrate together in one place. As a pair of artist and engineer, there was no detail that was not planned and executed to perfection. Saudi is a talented designer and fine artist and she crafted all the paper products for the wedding as well as almost every other detail you see in the frames below. The entire day was so acutely THEM. Thank you Saudi and Andrei for trusting us so completely and allowing us full creative freedom with your day. We are so thrilled to share these photos with you and hope that reliving this special occasion through the images makes your hearts swoon.

These felted animals were given as gifts to each family in attendance. They were hand crafted by women artisans in Mexico and Saudi’s mom collected them over many months just for this special surprise.

Sometimes, living in such a destination state, we don’t really get to meet our couples before their engagement sessions. It’s always a bit harder coming into a session with people we’ve never actually met in person. Nate and I usually force persuade all of our couples to meet with us at our office or hang out with us in some form or fashion but sometimes that just isn’t in the cards. It wasn’t in the cards for Wendy and Greg who, while undeniably cute with wicked taste in music, were only in town for a short while. We met up at the Port Orleans resort in Disney to get to know each other. Luckily, they made it easy for us. ♥
