The NEW Studio222 Photography Fall-Winter Info Magazine is HERE!

Sep 28 at 2:22 pm

I am so very excited to share this new bit of goodness with all of you! Since we launched our new blog and logo earlier this year we have been working behind the scened to revamp all of our information and printed materials and along the way we decided that it would be fun to put out a bi-annual info magazine for all of our current couples and inquiring brides-to-be to enjoy. We’ve loaded it with lots of photos from recent weddings, tips for a less-stress wedding, info on standout local vendors, and even a wedding day photo timeline to help you plan out your day. We hope you enjoy this, our first issue! These will also be available as printed glossy magazines that you can actually hold in your hands and flip through when you meet with us just as soon as we get them back from the printer. We’ve got all kinds of fun things coming up this fall and we’re so excited to continue to refine the entire wedding photography experience from start to finish for our fantastic couples! ENJOY…

Cheers,

Hello There!

Aug 9 at 2:22 pm

Hello and welcome to our newly remodeled blog! Thanks for stopping by!

// You may notice, first of all, that we have a shiny new logo perched atop the page. You, my astute friend, would be absolutely correct. Our new logo, typeface, and all the graphics drawn in the background and used throughout our new branding were hand drawn by our very talented artist friend Dylan Grace. They are all original works of art and we couldn’t be happier with how they all turned out. And for you super perceptive purveyors of design, we invite you to take a good, hard look at the clock that makes up our logo. Does the time portrayed sound familiar to anyone? ;)

// We’ve switched up our layout to be able to bring you photos that are now 900 pixels wide instead of the measly 800 we were sharing before. (How did we all live in a world with only 800 pixel wide images?!) So from now on out you’re eyes will be treated to 100 extra pixels of photographic goodness each time you stop by. You can thank our designer Kaitlin for that one. Make sure you click on the subscribe button at the top of the blog and add our feed to your reader of choice so you don’t miss out on any of our upcoming posts!

// We’ve also added even more functionality for you, dear friends. In addition to our standard links, we’ve added a link to an info page for our Sunday Funday classes for those of you beginners interested in learning more about photography. We’ve also decided to answer as many of our commonly asked questions as we can and have compiled the answers into two information-packed pages located by clicking on the FAQ link up top. Information is power people.

// At the end of each post you’ll be able to easily leave comments, share the blog post with your Facebook friends or twitter followers, or “LIKE” the post via Facebook. It’s all in one quick fire location so you barely have to lift a finger to be able to share what you see with your friends and followers. Spread the love.

// Lastly, at the bottom of the blog we’ve added in a link to our Facebook page, a search bar, and a search by categories feature so finding something in particular has never been easier. We have posts categorized by type and sometimes by venue or location so search away.

// And when you’re finished clicking through all the newness here on the blog, hop on over to the Studio222 Photography website where we’ve updated and added in a few new things like our accolades page and an updated manifesto. Facebook got a bit of a facelift as well and so did both Nate’s twitter and Becka’s twitter so feel free to hop all around and leave us some love.

// We’ve got two more HUGE posts coming today so keep checking in. Believe me, you won’t want to miss either of them. Promise.

If you’re feeling lucky, head on over to Facebook and Twitter and spread the word of our re-launch for the chance to win a $20 iTunes gift card. Jay Z and Kanye’s album just dropped last night and I know you’ve had your eyes on Adele’s record since you first heard Rollin’ in the Deep. We’ll choose one winner at random tonight at midnight.

  • Twitter friends, use this pre-made and oh so easy tweet: You’ve got to check out Studio222 Photography’s @beckarobinson & @naterobinson222 and their newly launched blog! http://su.pr/1B8U7q
  • Facebook friends, simply “LIKE” any post that we put up today for a chance to win.

Interwebs, meet Stefanie!

May 3 at 12:22 pm

Dear Interwebs, meet Stefanie! Our newest team member. You’re gonna ADORE her! Read on…

Studio 222 Photography stef studiodirector 1b Interwebs, meet Stefanie!

Stefanie is one of our absolute best friends. She is a beautiful person, a superwoman mother, a sexysauce wife, and a talented crafter. She is also a highly skilled administrator. So when we reached a point in our business where we felt like we needed to grow, she was the first person who popped into our minds. Luckily for us, we were able to convince her to say yes to joining our little team and starting this month you’re going to be seeing more of her around these parts. So as a formal introduction of sorts, I figured I’d interview her for you all so you can get to know her better…

BECKA: What are you going to be doing here?

STEF: Well my official title is “Studio Director and Client Liason“. I’m very used to doing administrative work as I’ve been doing it since I was 18 and I love it. But now for the first time I get to mix my two favorite things: organization and creative projects. I’m so excited to work in a creative office where I’m working with happy people who are getting married. I’m going to be the person who answers inquiries and preliminary questions for couples looking at Becka & Nate as their photographers. I’ll be scheduling meetings and coordinating Becka & Nate’s schedules as well as generally keeping the office organized. I’ll be assisting couples in the album design process and handling shipping all the goods to couples after their events to make sure you get them quickly. I’ll also be hosting a blog series where I do reviews of handmade crafts for weddings to help brides-to-be know if a project is worth the DIY effort. Basically, I’m going to be our couples’ new best friend.

B: What are some of your favorite things?

S: Definitely Levi (my husband) and Lucy (my daughter). Being outside in nature, I love that. Being creative and having outlets for that creativity. And candy. Especially the red ones. I love being silly and laughing with my family. Spending quality time with the important people in my life. I love being a mom and my daily phone chats with my mom.

B: Tell us all about your wedding…

S: It was the best wedding ever. It was so difficult trying to plan a wedding as we lived in Florida and all our family was in Connecticut. After being engaged for almost two years we finally decided to elope in Vegas. Two days before we were scheduled to leave I decided I should buy a dress and I found the cutest little yellow bridesmaids dress that was just perfect for me. We took our best friends along with us and got married at a chapel with a drive up window. We didn’t use the window though. We were married by a giant Samoan man. It was the best thing we could have done. We went to the Paris hotel afterward and had cake and desserts. It was intimate and perfect for who Levi and I are. And after our wedding we went and honeymooned in San Francisco, California, one of the best cities to travel to.

B: Anything else we should know?

S: I love elopements. I’m an only child. I have a husky named Petunia. My favorite drink is tequila and sour mix… or red wine. I’m sillier more frequently than I am serious. Levi and I have been together since we were 17. I want to learn how to re-upholster furniture. I can drive a stick shift. I have one tattoo. I graduated in a class of 30 kids. My favorite color is yellow. I’m excited to meet you!

……………………………………………………………….

To our future couples, Stef is who will be answering all your initial questions as well as sending you more details about our pricing and availability. She will also be there to answer your questions and help you make an appointment to meet with us at our studio to talk about your wedding. After your wedding she’ll be the one helping you place orders and working with you to help get your album in your hands as quickly as possible. We are soooooo thrilled to have her now in our Studio222 Photography family and we think you’re going to love her too!

To our current couples, you may notice a few emails from Stef but mostly you will be hearing from her after your wedding. I know you’re dying to meet her but we promise it will be worth the wait. And if you want to say hello to her you can at stefanie@studio222photography.com

Lovely feature about a lovely woman! Stef, I know you’ll keep Bate organized and I cannot wait to see your DIY wedding crafts!! Btw, I too want to learn to re-upholster furniture. Is there a class for that? Perhaps a local master upholsterer who will teach us?!

  • Mom:

Yeah Stephanie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a lovely addition to the 222 family……
