Disney Animal Kindgdom Lodge & Disney Wedding Pavillion | Orlando, Florida

Saudi and Andrei are two of our favorites and I am so thrilled to share these images with you all because I just love them so much. These two met with us soooo long ago and told us the story of how they met, got married, and had been loving each other for a decade. They were planning a huge vow renewal celebration because they never had a formal wedding and were so excited to have friends and family come from all over the world to celebrate together in one place. As a pair of artist and engineer, there was no detail that was not planned and executed to perfection. Saudi is a talented designer and fine artist and she crafted all the paper products for the wedding as well as almost every other detail you see in the frames below. The entire day was so acutely THEM. Thank you Saudi and Andrei for trusting us so completely and allowing us full creative freedom with your day. We are so thrilled to share these photos with you and hope that reliving this special occasion through the images makes your hearts swoon.

These felted animals were given as gifts to each family in attendance. They were hand crafted by women artisans in Mexico and Saudi’s mom collected them over many months just for this special surprise.

First, an announcement…

Nate and I are thrilled to announce that we will be speaking at the Images for a Cure Workshop on March 1-2, 2011. If you are unfamiliar with the work that Images for a Cure does, please take a second to read up on the organization, as they are doing great things. We will be speaking the first day and leading an engagement shoot the second day. During our shoot we’ll be showing you exactly how we work with our couples to relieve any anxiety and get them to feel comfortable enough with us to show us their true selves. We’ll also be showing you how to work with your surroundings and narrow your focus on the couple so that the location matters less than the emotions you are capturing. We’ll even be working with a real couple instead of staged models to keep it real for you! It’s going to be a lot of fun and there is a really fantastic lineup of speakers including Brooke Thomas, the creative director of Weddings Unveiled magazine! Just a quick sneak peek for Saudi and Andrei who renewed their vows this past weekend, 10 years after eloping together. The Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge is very special to the two of them so we went back at night to capture a few special shots. This is one of my favorites. More to come soon. BESOS.
