Cypress Grove Estate House | Cypress Grove Park | Orlando, Florida

Megan and Justin (who you may remember from our Partybooth video from yesterday) got married last weekend at one of our favorite venues with one of our favorite wedding teams ever, in the world, amen. I jokingly (kind of) refer to the grouping as the Orlando Dream Team because every wedding that we shoot together ends up being a favorite of mine and is executed beautifully and wonderfully and there’s butterflies and unicorns and magic. Maybe not that last part, but truly, it’s wonderful. This is just a sneak peek and I really feel like I’m not doing Megan and Justin’s wedding any justice with this because there were so many more details and aspects I want to show off and can’t… yet. Believe me, their wedding post is going to be HUGE! Tommy Murphy from Greenery Productions was on hand transforming the estate house and park into a pink hued wonderland of french-influenced flora. Brandee Gaar was running the show flanked by her amazing team of talented ladies from Blush by Brandee Gaar. And, might I add a new player to our dream team, Ben Lawles from Kaleidoscope Event Lighting was on hand lighting up the night in various shades of pink. AMAZING people. Seriously I want to bottle all of those vendors up and sell them as a wedding cure all pill because they’re that amazing (and Ben gave Brandee and I queso and chips to snack on, so you know he’s got a special place in my heart forever). Cypress Grove Estate House | Orlando, Florida

Erica and Brent had a tomato red and tiffany blue hued wedding at the Estate House at Cypress Grove a few weeks ago. Erica and Brent are two people who are most definitely close to our hearts. We have been extremely blessed this year to be shooting brides and grooms that have also become good friends of ours since their initial email to us and it’s always really exciting for us to be there with them on their big days.

Erica and Brent are an unstoppable force here in Orlando, as they run Redlight Redlight, a local craft beer bar specializing in American craft and Belgian beers that carries the best beer selection in Central Florida. (Not to brag on them or anything, but Redlight Redlight is no. 1 in Orlando and no. 4 in the world for their selection.) But don’t everyone converge on them at once, we don’t want to have to fight at the bar for Teej’s attention. ;)

Their wedding day was a HUGE celebration. (And by huge. I mean HUGE. Erica has a really big family! I’ll prove it to you later by showing your their portrait.) Everyone was laughter and smiles and butterflies and rainbows. But seriously, it was a happy day for everyone and you could just feel the joy radiating from everyone who loved Erica and Brent so dearly and who were excited to be there as they start in this new chapter of their lives…

Instead of a unity candle they poured red and white wine together.

Ok… can we just take a second to appreciate the magnitude of this image. This is Erica’s side of the family. And EVERYONE is looking at the camera and EVERY EYE IS OPEN! Did hell just freeze over? (Photographers, you’ll understand how epic this is.)

Cypress Grove Estate House | Orlando, Florida

Erica and Brent. I don’t even really know what to say about them except that our lives are more exciting, fun, and lovely because of knowing them. We were absolutely thrilled to get to capture their wedding at the Estate House at Cypress Grove Park here in Orlando. Erica planned a gorgeous blue and red colored day and everyone partied into the night. Brent owns the local bar, Redlight Redlight, so he was able to incorporate some pretty cool brews into the day. The two of them even had a wine ceremony during which they poured red and white wine together into a single cup. I’ll save the rest for their big post later on but I wanted to get this sneak peek up for everyone because I know Erica’s been checking in for it. ;)

I don’t usually post the family portraits but I had to this time. This is the biggest family portrait we’ve ever taken. And this is just Erica’s side.

This mouthwatering delight is by the talented Anna Cakes. You can smell her cakes from a mile away! Mmmmm….
