Maison & Jardin | Central Florida

Cicely’s grandparents owned a shop down in south Florida for many years selling trinkets and treasures to transients passing through. In memory, Cicely and James decided to style their entire wedding with trinkets leftover from her grandparents’ shop giving their reception an heirloom Florida feel. In loving memory. The gorgeous Maison & Jardin served as the palette and Tommy Murphy from Greenery Productions and Kristen from Blush by Brandee Gaar turned the vision into a reality. It was beautiful. Grand Bohemian | Cypress Grove Estate House Wedding | Orlando, Florida

It’s a small world isn’t it? Megan went to high school with our good friend Phil. Phil also happens to be our Party Booth assistant. And Megan’s sister decided to surprise Megan by adding a Party Booth to her sister’s wedding. (You may remember the crazy video of all the frames they snapped that night!) By the time we got to the wedding it was like we were part of a big family reunion. But that’s just natural for them, they’re a welcoming bunch, and we felt like life-long family friends for the entire day. Our favorite kind of day. :)

Megan and Justin’s wedding was held at the Cypress Grove Estate House which is one of our favorite local venues. They also had a bunch of Dream Team members in attendance including coordinators Blush by Brandee Gaar, Tommy Murphy from Greenery Productions handling the decor, and some of our newest friends Ben from Kaleidoscope Event Lighting and the ladies of Beaute Speciale. And, to make things even more magical, Megan decided to flip flop the entire layout of her wedding in a way we’ve never seen before on the property by having her ceremony where the receptions normally are and her reception spilling across the entire back lawn. It was perfection. Oh wait… real perfection arrived when a Jeremiah’s Italian Ice cart appeared and started doling out scoops of heavenly icy goodness. The perfect thing for a balmy Florida summer evening! We had so much fun celebrating and documenting and getting to be a part of such a fantastic day. Cypress Grove Estate House | Cypress Grove Park | Orlando, Florida

Megan and Justin (who you may remember from our Partybooth video from yesterday) got married last weekend at one of our favorite venues with one of our favorite wedding teams ever, in the world, amen. I jokingly (kind of) refer to the grouping as the Orlando Dream Team because every wedding that we shoot together ends up being a favorite of mine and is executed beautifully and wonderfully and there’s butterflies and unicorns and magic. Maybe not that last part, but truly, it’s wonderful. This is just a sneak peek and I really feel like I’m not doing Megan and Justin’s wedding any justice with this because there were so many more details and aspects I want to show off and can’t… yet. Believe me, their wedding post is going to be HUGE! Tommy Murphy from Greenery Productions was on hand transforming the estate house and park into a pink hued wonderland of french-influenced flora. Brandee Gaar was running the show flanked by her amazing team of talented ladies from Blush by Brandee Gaar. And, might I add a new player to our dream team, Ben Lawles from Kaleidoscope Event Lighting was on hand lighting up the night in various shades of pink. AMAZING people. Seriously I want to bottle all of those vendors up and sell them as a wedding cure all pill because they’re that amazing (and Ben gave Brandee and I queso and chips to snack on, so you know he’s got a special place in my heart forever).
