This is one of my all time favorite weddings. I’ve been waiting to post it for various reasons. One of which is because I knew words would fail me and I was hoping that some great description would come to me but it didn’t. So I’ll have to let the images do the talking.

But first let me say that this was our first brunch wedding and it was on a rooftop in historic St. Augustine Florida. (At the White Room, to be exact.) And it was just all kinds of adorable. Beth loves how fancy hats are so she teasingly requested that guests don some sort of fancy little hat and surprisingly to her, almost everyone did! Some guests even rented authentic vintage ones from a nearby shop!

Also, this wedding is full of favorite images of mine but perhaps one that takes the cake is the series that Nate captured of Adam while he was all ready and waiting to see Beth for the first time.

He sat in silence on a concrete bench wringing his hands in nervous anticipation and the images from that moment are just captivating. Because that’s what this is all about- moments. The ones you want to remember forever and the feelings that were attached to them. I hope that Beth is always able to look back and know how tenderly she has been loved by Adam.

We first met Justin and Tracy in Orlando. But then every time we saw them from that moment on was somewhere else. They brought us up to Savannah to shoot their engagement session and down to Punta Gorda for their wedding. But we were okay with it, because all of those places are pretty fun to travel to, and because Justin and Tracy are pretty fantastic people to spend time with.

It’s always extra special when we shoot the wedding of someone who was in a past wedding of ours. Tracy was a bridesmaid in Francesca and Pasha’s wedding. And Francesca was down with us in Punta Gorda as a bridesmaid in Tracy and Justin’s wedding. Keeping it in the family, you know how it is.

But my favorite thing about this wedding was how many sweet father/daughter moments seemed to pop up throughout the finished photos. Tracy and her father had so many funny, tender, sweet, and special moments throughout the day… most of them going un-noticed by most the guests. I’m so happy to have them captured in these images so that they can always remember the special bond they had that day, and so that their family can see the moments that were happening behind the scenes on the big day.
