Winter Park Farmer’s Market | Winter Park, Florida

I heard this song the other day and it reminded me of this wedding. Have you heard it? It’s by Sufjan Stevens and the lyrics go, “I can see a lot of life in you. I can see a lot of bright in you. And I think the dress looks nice on you. I can see a lot of life in you.” Have you ever had a song remind you of a specific day? Or a specific event? Or a specific person? That song reminds me of Dayna & Ian’s wedding day. It’s soft and melodious. It’s honest and not too fluffy. It’s got a pure, organic sound. And it celebrates life. And as soon as I heard it I made a mental note to blog about it today. Dayna and Ian bring out the life in me. And they have a lot of bright in them.

It’s that time. Time for part two of Dayna & Ian’s Winter Park Farmer’s Market Wedding to celebrate making it halfway through this week. I’m really excited to share this second half with you all because this half is bursting at the seams with all the lovely, Anthropologie-esque DIY details that Dayna designed. Dayna is a styling prodigy, I tell you. She came up with things I would never have thought of, she made them all herself, and she put them together to create a wedding full of effortless style that made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I adore the ladder display she used as an altar, the entire welcome table, and the handcrafted centerpieces. Ian brewed beer for the event and they added a Party Booth for the guests. I kind of want that ladder display on my patio. And I kind of want the votives hanging from my porch. And I kind of want those little scratch off cups in my pantry. And… well, you get the idea.

If this doesn’t make you smile, I don’t know what will…

Happy Monday friends! Nate and I are watching LIFE while we answer emails, schedule meetings, and work on giving our website a spring makeover. I’m so excited to share this wedding with you all today, as I am in love with each and every single frame and because it’s the wedding of some dear friends of ours, who we are so blessed to have in our lives…

Dayna and Ian’s wedding is one of the weddings that I will always remember. Dayna played the role of planner, coordinator, stylist, designer, and bride and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the grace and skill at which she executed this day. Not only was everything lovely, but Dayna’s wedding was one of, if not the most beautifully styled wedding I’ve ever seen. (I’m secretly considering hiring her to redecorate our condo.) Dayna and Ian also opted for a first look which allowed us tons of extra time to get really beautiful portraits of them before the ceremony and I’m so happy they did because we found the perfect nook on the balcony of their old Florida styled hotel that made for the sweetest first look setting ever. I feel like my words are not going to do any justice to the day so let me just shut up and show you…

Dayna found her dress on Rue La La which made me sooooo happy. Rue La La rocks!

Ian’s suit was originally his father’s and he had it altered to fit him and the look of their wedding…
