I’m currently on a plane to Montreal with my buddy/luxury photographer extraordinaire, Timco to help shoot a wedding. A 16 hour wedding. Lord have mercy. I’m going to need a pedicurist and a masseuse waiting at my house for when I return. (Did you hear that Universe?!) And, since I was up till about 2am getting ready for my 6am wakeup call, (even Starbucks can’t make that better) I decided to forgo the traditional Wednesday post full of wedding images and instead direct you over to the personal blog where we’ve got a bunch of new film photos and ramblings up for you to enjoy. Last year we launched our “Early Bird Special” and got such a great and positive response that we thought we’d do it again this year. But this time we’re switching it up a bit. If you are a 2011 bride (or groom, no discrimination here folks) and you love us and our work and you can get your contract and retainer into us by September 30th 2010 (That’s the end of next month!) we will take $222 off your total. But… if you’re really pro-active, (I’m talking to you Mr. & Mrs. GO GETTER!) and you and your fiance can book your wedding with us by SEPTEMBER 10th, we’ll double it. (That’s a big old $444 that you can use toward an ice cream buffet, or couples massages on the honeymoon, or, hello, a PARTY BOOTH at your reception!)

There’s not even that many rules. Ready for them? Okay since you asked…

1. You need to be a couple getting married in 2011.

2. You must love us and our work and be willing to trust us completely with your images.

3. You need to either set up a time to meet with us (if you’re local) or set up a phone date so we can make sure we’re a good fit for each other.

4. You need to book us for a minimum of 8 hours.

5. You need to be able to book us (that means signed contract, and payment) by midnight September 10th, 2010 (for the double discount) or midnight September 30th, 2010 (for the regular discount). If you tell us on October 1st that you want to book us, you’re going to get our normal prices. Only early birds get the worms. ;)

They spent the first months of their marriage separated by thousands of miles. But now they’re reunited, and in it for the long haul. That’s why Kristin wanted to symbolically say goodbye to her wedding dress. Because the wedding is over. And now the marriage remains. And unlike the wedding dress, it’s not going anywhere.
